Over the weekend someone slashed the tires on over 45 vehicles in the neighborhood next door. I didn’t notice the flat-tired vehicles while we went for a walk but I did wonder why there were so many tow trucks taking cars away. I thought, “parking violators galore.” But now I know not to be so judgmental. It made me thankful for our garage, again.
Today we wanted to buy new tires for our van. The Firestone shop on post only had two types of tires left in lieu of the weekend’s events. When we got there they informed us that their tire balancing machine was also broken. No tires for us today.
