Unaccompanied Baggage

If you know what Unaccompanied Baggage is, then this post is for you. If you don’t, don’t worry. It’s not the skeletons in the closet, ghosts in the attic, or the horror stories about your Ex or childhood memories.

I complied this list when we first got here, and hadn’t yet received our stuff yet. It’s all of the things I thought were important to have to survive those first few days in a new place. I’m sure I forgot to list a few things that are essentials, but someday I hope to have a comprehensive list. Your list might be different, but here’s mine:

Shower curtain and curtain rings
Sheets, pillows, pillowcases and blankets (the more, the better)
towels, wash cloths, and hand towels
laundry bag or laundry basket

kitchen knives and sharpener

cookie sheet, casserole dish
