Paris

We took the Chunnel back to Paris.  Our train was delayed. We were each given a free trip on a future Chunnel train, which will go unredeemed. 😦

We actually did see a lot in Paris. Aside from the Eiffel Tower, we took the boys to the Louvre, to see Mona Lisa, of course, and to admire some other great art. I’ve been to the Louvre two times, and still only seen one wing of the Museum.  It is huge, and I could spend a lifetime there. The boys…no. They struggled to last an hour, Andy included. We saw the mini Statue of Liberty along the Seine, the Grande Arche in La Defense, Notre Dame and the Sacre Coeur (just the outside….can you imagine trying to go in on Easter weekend??) We had a nice lunch at a cool park nearby, and walked around the art stalls in Montmartre.  My favorite discovery this time in Paris…the Passages!  There were several near our hotel. Awesome!  They are my next Parisian quest.
