Kilburn

We discovered that the neighborhood where we stayed was very diverse.  In fact, there were more ethnic shops and restaurants than quintessential British fare.  We had to look hard to find a fish ‘n’ chips shop, and it was really just a kebap shop that sold fish and chips on the side.  Not so good.  It was an interesting place to walk around.

Two of Gus’ memorable comments while walking around London:

Randomly…

“I like it better in the old times, before money was invented. I wish we still used seashells.”

(Why he is stuck on this seashell thing, I know not)

After seeing a woman in a full Niqab (more than a Chador, less than a Burqa), Gus declaired,

“I just saw a Ninja!”
